As a fine artist, Anouk Colantoni's artistic inquiry is concerned with the grey areas of human nature: imperfections, vulnerabilities and contradictions. In 2016, her self-referential debut solo show in New York, Safety In Numbers, was a form of social commentary, exploring the everyday human experience, transforming the mundane into moments of magnificence with written word, pen and watercolor.
As an illustrator and writer, Anouk has collaborated with fashion, travel/lifestyle, interior and architectural clients including: ELLE , RUSSH, Thompson Hotels: The Beekman Hotel, Stuart Weitzman, Isa Tapia, Farrow & Ball and Eye-Swoon. In 2016, Anouk created a collection of hand-painted leather jackets for West14th , and designed a one-off wallpaper mural for the opening of the New York restaurant, The Flower Shop.
As a stylist and creative director Anouk has worked with leading creatives including Camilla Nickerson, Mario Sorrenti and Bruce Weber, for luxury fashion houses such as Céline, Calvin Klein and Alexander McQueen and in publications including Harper’s Bazaar, VOGUE and GRAZIA. Anouk has written for publications including RUSSH, ELLE and VOGUE magazines. Styling and creative direction clients include: Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, Vogue, Visual Therapy New York, Calvin Klein, Rebecca Taylor .
